Today i saw Guzaarish, i couldn't help myself but to write !i mean it left me speechless!
Dear Hrithik
you just gave your best most outstanding performance ever in this masterpiece! your facial expressions made it to my heart. your eyes did all the needed talking in the moments of pauses, pain or silence. It surprised me at the beginning how you could do a role of a total disabled! you the one who is known with high energetic steps and great action abilities? but you surprised me and you managed this difficult role with such efficiency that i almost felt these trapped tears inside your eyes flowing on my cheeks in your most challenging scenes.this role is a great treat to a talented actor like yourself. I never doubted your material before, but you prove more profoundness each time! you handled each detail with much professionalism.frankly,i was all taken with these tiny nerves that pulsed in your face and burst with your sarcastic laughter or bitter jokes as Ethan.you were BRILLIANTLY OUTSTANDING man! :)
of course,i disagree with the main plot of the movie concerning the issue of merciful killing and the right to end oneself 's life due to any kind of pain or suffering. However this didn't prevent me from enjoying this beautiful artistic piece.
Give my best to Ash and tell her that she is growing stronger in her acting skills with every movie.she managed the exact proportions of emotions in each scene.said much more with her eyes and her sighs then with words.in fact, she blew my mind completely with the role of Sophia!
hats off to every single one who participated in this amazing movie, above all the MAESTRO Sanjay Leela Bansali who touched our souls with DEVDAS and now this wonderful heartfelt one!
he knows how to play on the chords of passion, beauty and real art..pressing the buttons of excellence all the way!
had to thank you for your success in performing one of the most difficult roles of your life perhaps.
and the funny thing is when i just wondered how could hrithik not dance in a movie? as a treat to my eyes your dance with the crystal ball just popped in and made me smile big time! it was perfectly put and filled its place in the dramatic sequence.as a viewer i felt you got into my mind in the right time! that was important and thoughtful of Bansali.
One thing i had to point out, why is Ash dressed this way? i didn't notice the historical era or the date of the story but the medical equipments seemed modern enough to me that may be Ash would've dressed in a more different way i guess!
also the music was a bit slow and may be it needed different tunes.it sounded hazy at times.
one last Question to the cast of the film, why Barcelona? i donno if it was just me but i felt more in Goa watching the movie, and i am a total biased to India and its marvelous scenery so no matter how beautiful Barcelona is..for me the mother land is always the best.adds to that that there wasn't any dramatic need or imply for the events that they occur in spain.anyway these are minor wonderings from my part that doesn't effect my real admiration for this very well made movie.
I apologize for being long..but i had to convey my admiration for such a good time that i spent watching and exploring the new Hrithik who shines with every movie more!
from a foreign viewer whom your performance touched her heart.
get ready now with new shelves in your house, this baby is going to get you more awards then you can count..and you can MARK ON MY WORDS.
thank you and kuddos duggu..you really made it BIG this time.

  3. To be very honest, apart from a thought provoking topic and Hrithik Brilliant Performance, this movie lack everything. Bhansali was nowhere near what it should be, pretty lame writing and over do on sets was getting over my nerves, not to forget Red Lipstick on nurse, who gets beaten by her husband. And a total pointless end, lead me nowhere. Music was decent.
I can say, Bhansali even with HR best performance couldn't utilize him or the story.
A sad thing to say Beero, but this movie didn't come my way.

  4. Bansali always lives in his movies in a bubble..he takes you to his own world,be it colorful or dark,it is just like nothing you have been before.good or bad..he does have a different tool in direction.Hrithik was at his best,he is the movie if you ask me.Ash tried hard,i just hated the dresses and i found it totally out of concept too.may be she needed more loosen up,but it was over all good.
the end i didn't approve,i am against the whole plot of the movie.but i enjoyed the artistic steps as i mentioned :)
Hrithik blew my mind away with his performance, perhaps for me all i really enjoyed watching was him at his BEST till date..:)
